That’s exactly what I meant by her bizarre “slut-shaming” and her non-comprehension of the fact that all women are different (than she is). She doesn’t seem to understand that some women prefer monogamy, some women like both casual and monogamous relationships, and some women enjoy just casual ones.
She tries so hard to see something sinister in that because of HER personal experiences and HER personal “feelings of shame” when she was single. She clearly was the type of “slutty” who slept with men to gain their approval and seek fulfillment from them instead of herself (just like she does now)…..
And that’s why she fails to understand that many women can sleep around/be slutty/be casual and truly DON’T have self-esteem probs, security issues, or feel “shameful” about it. They’re having fun and enjoying life (something she should think about trying!)
